By this recipe’s end, you’ll know how to prepare super easy smoky oven-baked barbecue ribs. The ribs are so tender and have a delicious aroma. Your loved ones are going to love it.
How to make the best BBQ Ribs in the Oven
To prepare, start off by mixing all the dry seasoning together. In a small bowl, add brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, BBQ dry rub, and salt. Use a fork to mix the seasoning then set it aside.
Place the baby back Rib on a surface and remove the membrane. Now, apply spicy dijon mustard on the ribs as a binder — that way the seasoning can stick better on the ribs. Note that you can use regular mustard if that’s what you prefer.
Add your seasoning to the ribs. While adding, make sure to pat the seasoning down instead of rubbing it on the rib. Flip over the rib and repeat on the other side.
Place the rib on the oven rack and place a baking dish under it so that all the sauce and juice can fall into the dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Once the rib is done baking, take it out of the oven and apply your favorite barbecue sauce all over the rib. Flip over the rib and repeat on the other side. Put the rib back in the oven for another 15 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Your bbq rib in the oven is now ready.
