These honey butter garlic wings are a unique twist on the classic buffalo-style wings. The sweetness of honey and the savory flavors of butter and garlic are combined with the heat of the hot sauce to create a delicious and balanced flavor.
These wings can be made using an air fryer, deep fryer, oven, or grill depending on personal preference.
How to prepare hot honey butter garlic wings
In a mixing bowl, add chicken, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, soy sauce, chili paste, brown sugar, oil, and cayenne pepper. Combine and cover. Leave it in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Arrange the wings in an air fryer, and cook for 18 mins at 200C.
Remove the wings from the air fryer and flip all the wings. Cook for another 10 mins until they’re brown. Remove from heat and put the chicken in a mixing bowl.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat, melt the butter then add in garlic. Stir until fragrant. Stir in honey and hot sauce. Combine and remove from heat.
Pour the garlic butter over the chicken and toss well. Enjoy the wings!
