How to prepare Cheeseburger crunch wrap
Start off the recipe by baking the bacon first. You can either cook it over the stovetop or you can bake it for about 10-12 minutes. Once you’re done, keep the baking grease because you’re going to use it later.
For the sauce, In a small bowl add mayonnaise, mustard, sriracha sauce, and some pickles. Give it a good mix and set it aside.
Next, add about 2 tbsp of olive oil to your skillet. Place the onions on the skillet and cook on medium-low heat for about 10-15 minutes. Don’t burn the onions, just caramelize them. You have to keep stirring so that it doesn’t burn. Once you’re done, set the onions aside.
Place the ground beef in a big bowl and sprinkle the seasoning blend on top of it. Use your hand to mix in the seasoning. Use your hand to form two beef patties and flatten them out in round circles.
Now place a cast iron on the stove and make sure it’s hot. Sprinkle a little bit of oil on the skillet and don’t forget to add the bacon grease you had set aside. Once the skillet is smoking hot, place the beef patties on it. Press down the patties with a spatula just to make sure the inside is cooked as well. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes and flip them over to allow the other side to cook. It should take 5 minutes per side.
Once all the sides are cooked, place three slices of cheese on top of the burger. You can add more or less according to your preference.
Drizzle a little bit of oil in a separate cast iron skillet and place one tortilla on it just to soften it a bit. Once the tortilla is nice and hot on both sides, place the burger sauce right on top. Add a few slices of cheese on top of the sauce then grab the burger and place it right on top of the cheese. This is the layering process. Next, place the bacon right on top of the burger and add some diced pickles as well. Lastly, add the caramelized onions as well as more cheese.
Use one tortilla to place on top of the burger and then fold it. Make sure the tortillas are flimsy enough for them to be folded. Once folded, flip it over and cook one side until golden brown and as well as sealed. Flip it over again to grill the other side.
